Question: What is Serenity’s Place?
Answer: Serenity’s Place is a 3,000 square foot lodge for businesses, groups or individuals to rent for meetings or get-always.

Question: Where is Serenity’s Place located?
Answer: Serenity’s Place is located in Atchison, Kansas, approximately 50 miles north of Kansas City, Missouri on the banks of the Missouri River. It is approximately 20 miles south of St. Joseph, Missouri and about 50 miles east of Topeka, Kansas.

Question: What are the amenities Serenity’s Place offers?
Answer: Serenity’s Place offers therapeutic massages, gardening, and nature trail walks, horseback riding, painting, ceramics and a quiet place for relaxing. Schedule Serenity’s Place amenities and events at the time of reservations.

Question:. How many people can accommodate Serenity’s Place?
Answer: Up to 35 people inside Serenity’s Place. However, the outside grounds allow guests to put up a tent to accommodate up to 100 people.

Question: How many people does Serenity’s Place sleep?
Answer: There are beds for 6-7 people to sleep at Serenity’s Place. Recommendations for other sleeping accommodations are available upon request.

Question:. Is Serenity’s Place a bed and breakfast?
Answer: No. At Serenity’s Place, you may rent the entire place as opposed to an individual room. Serenity’s Place also offers a full-service kitchen for guests to prepare their food or have it catered.

Answer:

Question:. Where can we get facilitators for our meeting?
Answer: Serenity’s Place provides facilitators with various expertise (i.e., educators, counselors, mediators, trainers and speakers).

Question:. Does Serenity’s Place have event planners?
Answer: Yes. Inquire at registration.

Reservations and Payments

Payments: Event dates are officially booked only upon receipt of a booking deposit of 50% of the total reserved amount, which will be deducted from your final bill. The remaining balance will be due 4 weeks prior to your event, or immediately if your event date is less than 4 weeks from today.

Cancellation/Reduction Provisions: When you book space, that means we cannot provide it to someone else. Therefore the following provisions apply to cancellations or reductions in
numbers.

No Deposit or Lodge Rental, Amenities, or other Refunds
We will reschedule your retreat for a later date
You may select an alternate date
You may transfer into a gift certificate, that can be used within one year

Your Deposit will be forfeited for cancellations received BETWEEN the Booking Deposit Refund/Reduction Deadline and the Attendance Guarantee Deadline.

You will be liable for the entire Event Fee for all cancellations

There are no exceptions to any of these policies, and all cancellations or reductions must be received in writing prior to the applicable deadline dates.
