PLACE, a 3,000-square-foot lodge overlooking a valley of trees and meadows three miles
south of Atchison, Kansas. The lodge, available for
businesses, organizations and families, coupled with our relaxing, care-free environment
and our various amenities, promises to enhance your event, whether it’s a full-day
business-strategy session, a book-club or other social gathering, or an overnight or
weekend stay. |

| The
impetus for the concept that created SERENITY'S PLACE stemmed from owner Michelle
D. Campbell’s human resources work with businesses at their corporate locations. "Participants
often seemed stifled and, at times, unwilling to actively and honestly participate in the
formal corporate setting," Campbell said. "Although we were
effective in reaching our objectives, it took some time for participants to feel that they
could provide their true insights while at work." SERENITY'S PLACE quickly
allows participants to shed their formal protocol and focus on the purpose of the meeting
— to enhance company resources, increase profits or build a better workforce. The
worry-free environment also enhances your organization’s meetings. And for those who
just want to relax, you will find Serenity’s Place meets that need as well. |
